According to Dr. Robert Malone, COVID vaccines may be trigerring diseases since they target an outdated variant of the coronavirus.
“The data are showing that vaccination can actually increase the risk of being infected with the Omicron version of this virus,” in a recent conversation with the media, Malone stated.
Malone was alluding to how people hospitalized with COVID-19 in some regions, such as Scotland and New Zealand, seem to be more likely than not to have had a COVID-19 vaccine.
Furthermore, a recent study found that one dosage of a vaccination increased protection for individuals recovering from COVID-19, but two or three dosages seemed to reduce protection; the authors acknowledged they didn’t know why. Another study indicated that naturally immune people who were not even vaccinated had better protection than someone who was.
Vaccine-associated enhanced diseases (VAED), as well as a comparable event known as enhanced respiratory disease following COVID-19 vaccination, were noted as an “important potential risk” of the COVID-19 vaccinations by US drug regulators (read below). According to a group from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), several adverse events reported after COVID-19 vaccination “could indicate” VAED (pdf).
The year before, researchers defined VAED as sickness “resulting from infection in individuals primed with non-protective immune responses against the respective wild-type viruses,” according to a case description. “Given that these enhanced responses are triggered by failed attempts to control the infecting virus,” they continued, “VAED typically presents with symptoms related to the target organ of the infection pathogen.”
Malone, who assisted in developing the messenger RNA technology that two of the three COVID-19 vaccines licensed to be used in the United States are based on, told The Epoch Times, “That’s what the data has been showing now for a few months.”
According to a Pfizer document (pdf) issued this month, there were a potential 138 cases of VAED recorded from December 2020 to February 2021, with 317 related events. There were 138 cases in total, 71 of which were clinically relevant, 16 of which necessitated hospitalization, 13 of which were life-threatening, and 38 of which resulted in death.
Out of the 317 potentially pertinent occurrences, medication ineffectiveness was the most commonly reported (135). COVID-19 pneumonia, diarrhea, respiratory failure, and seizures were among the other complications.
“VAED may present as severe or unusual clinical manifestations of COVID-19,” Pfizer concluded, adding that, “based on the current evidence, VAED/VAERD remains a theoretical risk for the vaccine” and that they will persist to monitor the syndrome.’
Requests for response from Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson were not returned.
Vaccine safety is being monitored by the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) via surveillance programs including the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System and v-safe, according to a CDC representative.
The representative informed the media in an email that monitoring to date “has not established a causal relationship between COVID-19 vaccination and vaccine-associated enhanced disease.”
The CDC claims that the immunizations are generally safe and effective, but it also urges anyone who have adverse reactions to disclose them to one of the programs.
Meanwhile, a representative for the FDA informed journalists via email that the agency has not yet found a link between the three vaccines it has approved and increased respiratory disease.
