The 27-year-old senior analyst at Goldman Sachs, who disappeared following a “Zeds Dead” concert in Brooklyn, New York City, on Saturday morning, has been discovered deceased.

Goldman Sachs Analyst Found Dead In NYC Water

John Castic, a Goldman employee, was found floating in Newtown Creek on Tuesday, approximately half a mile away from the location he was last seen. His father shared this information with Fox 5 New York.

“They have found his body and confirmed it’s him. It appears to have been death by misadventure. His wallet and phone were found on him,” his father, Jeffrey Castic, told Fox 5.

Castic was last observed at 02:30 ET on Saturday, exiting a Zeds Dead concert at The Brooklyn Mirage in East Williamsburg.

According to The New York Post, around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, a man noticed a bloated, shirtless body floating face-down in the English Kills, a branch of the East River tributary, near 1100 Grand Street.

Fox 5 highlighted that a different young man also disappeared from the same music venue in June and was found dead five days later in Newtown Creek.

The police stated that both deaths are currently under investigation, and there are speculations about a potential connection between them.

This marks the second Goldman analyst to perish in approximately a year.
