The UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) is making efforts to develop global identity system and working with the United Nations and the World Bank to achieve it.
On Dec 2, Saurabh Garg, UIDAI’s Chief Executive Officer said that we are working with global organisations to develop an international identity system.
At digital money conference he said, ‘Some countries have already adopted the kind of architecture that we have used and others are keen to do that,’.
The Payments Council of India organised this conference and he spoke at the conference and said, “This [Universal Global Identity System] is something we are very actively working upon, we have got a number of queries from a large number of countries, both in our neighbourhood — Asia — and across the world.
We had a number of discussions with them, some countries have already adopted the kind of architecture that we have used and others are keen to do that,” Mr. Garg added.
He said, “The way we only allow use of Aadhaar by way of consent and secondly, in terms of information security that takes prime importance for us. We have our data centres and we keep them isolated.”
“They are only accessed through the secured and identified and friendly mechanisms. We don’t allow any unknown method of accessing our systems,” he said.
He added, “We have multiple firewalls which we continue to update, we have 24X7 security operation centres, we continuously get feeds from agencies and intelligence on what is happening. Security of the data and system is of utmost importance to us.”
However, as reported by GreatGameIndia earlier, CIA spies already have access to Aadhaar database.
It should also be noted that promoted as India’s official coronavirus vaccination surveillance app, CoWIN is created by the UN, GAVI and Amazon.
The Indian government is also planning to launch a mandatory digital health card modeled on Bill Gates’ concept. Under the ‘One Nation One Health Card’ scheme, a person’s medical history records, including all the treatments and tests that the person has undergone, will be digitally saved in this card.
Hospitals, clinics, and doctors will all be linked to a central server. The move is aimed at mapping the health records of every citizen of the country in a digital format.
Meanwhile, according to documents that were previously undisclosed the Indian government is planning to create a 360 degree database to track every aspect of the lives of every Indian citizen with funding from the World Bank.
It will be an auto-updating, all-encompassing and searchable database. The database will maintain all the details of peoples’ lives such as cities they travel, job change, spouse details, details about someone born or dead in the family and a lot more.
The plans to chip the human race through the digital identification program ID2020 were earlier exposed by an Italian politician demanding the arrest of Bill Gates in the Italian parliament.
