The media has documented numerous instances of doctors across Canada who have had their medical licenses suspended or even terminated by the College of Physicians for speaking out against the risks associated with receiving the experimental COVID-19 injections. Now, even a vaccine-injured Canadian politician is saying that doctors are being prevented from criticizing COVID shots.
Shane Clayton Getson, an Alberta MLA who suffered vaccine-related injuries, claimed in an exclusive interview with the Western Standard that the medical establishment silences physicians who speak out about the variety of injuries brought on by COVID vaccinations.
In an interview with the Western Standard last week, Getson addressed the issue of how doctors have frequently suffered professional repercussions for acknowledging the novel COVID shots carry significant risks: “The Royal College of Physicians has driven those doctors [who speak out about vaccine injuries] underground, quite frankly, and their messages are not getting out.”
“I’ve started sharing my story because I think we’re at a stage where it’s ok to talk about it, and we’ve got a lot of folks out there with vaccine injuries,” explained the United Conservative Party MLA for Lac Ste. Anne-Parkland in Alberta.
Recounting his own experience, Getson claims that following the administration of his first dose of COVID in October 2021, he developed a number of unsettling symptoms, which include high fevers, chest pain, rashes, facial swelling, arthritis symptoms, a collapsed right lung, and a loss of mobility in his right shoulder.
“I had to tell my staff members, ‘I physically cannot work more than eight hours,’ or else all the symptoms would start creeping back, and I just couldn’t take that risk. It was brutal,” lamented the politician.
The majority of his symptoms were eventually “mitigated,” he did tell the outlet, but his ordeal prompted him to recognize that he needed to “come out and tell folks” about his vaccination injury, especially considering the medical establishment’s reluctance to do so.
Getson went on to say more about his grievance with the College of Physicians, telling the Western Standard that he has spoken to several physicians who have faced consequences for being open about the dangers of acquiring the COVID vaccine.
He added that although several doctors are willing to discuss the potential risks of the shots in private, they frequently avoid doing so in public for fear of repercussions from the College of Physicians, which may include having their medical licenses revoked.
For this reason, Getson told the Western Standard, he is now calling on an open discussion about the risks linked not just with vaccines but with all of the COVID-era policies foisted on Canadians.
“If we don’t [have such a conversation], we will see pressures put on an already strained system simply because we [will be] wishing it goes away if ignored, and that is just downright dangerous,” warned the legislator.
“When we finally get all of this to come out in the open, and we try to figure out how to deal with the number of people having these health complications, that will be a reckoning in our system,” he stressed.
The media has documented numerous instances of doctors across Canada who have had their medical licenses suspended or even terminated by the College of Physicians for speaking out against the risks associated with receiving the experimental COVID-19 injections, supporting Getson’s claims of medical censorship.
In one incident, a nearly 50-year Catholic physician named Dr. Mary O’Connor’s medical license was revoked because she refused to divulge any personal information about patients who were applying for medical vaccine exemptions.
When doctors lose the freedom to tell the truth then it follows that those who silence them do not have the best interest of the people in their mind. If there is any disagreement with what somebody said then it should be refuted, not silenced.
